About Us

Carolina Integrative Therapy is a trauma-focused, integrative mental health practice serving children, adolescents, and adults ages 4 and up across North Carolina. We provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy that honors the mind-body connection and affirms the full diversity of human identity.

 

Our clinicians specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, identity-related stress, and life transitions using holistic and trauma-informed approaches tailored to each individual.

Reach out via email (admin@carolinaintegrativetherapy.com), text, or phone (980) 226-4165 or click below to schedule a free 15-minute with any of our providers.

Our providers will connect with you on their approach, their availability, and find out a bit more about you. Consider this an interview and ask questions that feel important to you in working with a therapist. This may include asking about their experiences working with your presenting concerns, what sessions may looks like, or how goals are set.

Email us your insurance information, if you'd you'd like to potentially utilize your health insurance benefits. Send a photo of the front and back of your card and your date of birth (or your child's if they are under 18).

We will respond within 3 business days with a summation of your benefits and what costs would look like to get started.

Your clinician will reach out to you to schedule your first session. In this first 1-hour session, there is a lot of information gathering, questions asked, and you will begin to set goals for your time with us.

During each session thereafter, you will work with your clinician for the time determined during your intake, typically for 1-hour sessions or 90-minute groups. Session frequency may be scheduled as often as you'd like based on availability and your insurance benefits.

Carolina Integrative Therapy is a proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming practice. We provide inclusive mental health care for individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions.

Our clinicians understand the impact of minority stress, discrimination, religious trauma, and identity-based harm, and we approach this work with cultural humility, affirmation, and respect. Inclusion is not an add-on. It is central to our clinical practice!

Trauma-Focused & Holistic Therapy Services​

We approach therapy through an integrative lens, recognizing that trauma impacts emotional, cognitive, relational, and physiological systems. Treatment plans are collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in current clinical research.

  • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in collaboration with medical providers

Owner; Trauma, EMDR & Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Specialist

Dr. Justina Floyd (she/her) is a North Carolina-licensed, trauma-focused therapist, supervisor, educator, and EMDR consultant-in-training specializing in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and integrative care for complex trauma, perinatal trauma, identity-based stress, and life transitions. Dr. Floyd is LGBTQIA+ affirming and offers both in-person and telehealth sessions across North Carolina. She founded Carolina Integrative Therapy in 2020 to create a practice centered on compassionate, trauma-informed care that honors each person's unique path to healing.

Roxanna Books, MA, LCMHCA, LCASA, NCC

Trauma, Addiction, Wholistic, EMDR & Integrative Therapist

Roxanna Books (she/her) is a trauma-focused, addiction-informed therapist who helps adults heal from anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She specializes in EMDR and evidence-based psychotherapy, integrating holistic approaches like Reiki to address the whole person, not just symptoms.

Roxanna offers compassionate, inclusive therapy in both in-person and telehealth formats across North Carolina, creating a safe space for clients to process pain and move toward lasting healing.

Lauren Colbert (she/her) is a queer North Carolina Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who helps queer and trans folks, as well as individuals navigating developmental trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, and identity exploration. She specializes in EMDR and evidence-based approaches that support healing, self-understanding, and resilience for adolescents and adults.

Lauren offers compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed therapy both in-person and through telehealth across North Carolina, creating a safe space where clients can build greater self-trust and move toward lives that feel authentic and whole.

Anaya Davis, MA, LCMHCA, NCC

Helping young clients feel seen, safe, and empowered

Anaya Davis (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who works with children and adolescents ages 4–19, supporting them through a variety of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. She utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), play therapy, and expressive arts techniques to meet clients where they are and engage them in ways that feel natural and meaningful.

Anaya believes that healing begins when individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. She creates a safe and supportive environment where young clients can explore their emotions, express themselves freely, and develop tools for growth and resilience. Her approach is rooted in culturally responsive care and a holistic perspective, honoring each client’s identity, relationships, and lived experiences as part of the therapeutic process.

Emilia Glaser (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who helps young adults and adults navigate grief, life transitions, burnout, relationship stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, and trauma. She specializes in Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, integrating mindfulness and expressive arts to support growth and self-discovery.

 

Emilia offers LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy through telehealth across North Carolina, blending talk therapy with creative and mindfulness practices to help clients process emotions, honor their stories, and step into more authentic, grounded lives.
