More About emilia

Emilia Glaser is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina who helps young adults, college-aged individuals, and adults navigate the challenges of everyday life with empathy, curiosity, and care. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Master's in Counseling and is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Who Emilia works with

Emilia works with clients experiencing grief and loss, life transitions such as career changes or identity shifts, school or workplace burnout, relationship stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, and trauma-related concerns. She is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals and strives to be an understanding, affirming clinician who honors each person's lived experience.

Emilia believes you are the expert in your own life. Her role is to walk alongside you as you explore your story, navigate obstacles, and build the skills and self-trust needed to live more authentically. She offers a safe, non-judgmental, and constructive space where growth happens through collaboration, not prescription.

Emilia's therapeutic approach draws from Person-Centered Therapy, which centers your needs, values, and goals; Narrative Therapy, which helps you explore the stories you tell about yourself and rewrite the ones that no longer serve you; and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which invites you to understand the different parts of yourself with compassion and curiosity. She also integrates mindfulness and expressive arts, using creative and somatic practices to support healing.

Emilia approaches each client with empathy, positive regard, and active listening. She knows that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, and she's ready to meet you exactly where you are. Together, you'll work on enhancing your coping skills, navigating life's obstacles, and discovering your true, authentic self. Emilia offers telehealth sessions across North Carolina. Contact her to schedule a session and take the first step toward the support you deserve.
